Dizziness can come with migraines. Also, low blood pressure could cause dizziness. Don't get yourself hyped up, thinking you have a brain tumor. See a doctor. let a doctor determine what is causing these symptoms.
Good luck Hon.

i don't think it's a migraine either. and i know migraines. but don't be scared- it may be something else other than a tumor.

the best thing you can do is go see a good doctor as soon as possible and ask them to schedule you up for an MRI scan.

MRI is the best way to determine whether or not you have a brain tumor. MRI is safe and does not use radiation. Even if you are claustrophobic, do not opt for an open MRI machine- they do not produce good diagnostic images like a regular MRI machine does. regular MRI machines usually have a small mirror so you can look out into the room and not feel as claustrophobic. if that doesn't help, you will be fine if you just close your eyes and go to sleep. remember to be very still during the exam, follow all the instructions you are given, and do remember to ask for ear plugs because the machine is very loud. ask if any metal implants you have will prevent you from having the exam because the machine is controlled by a very strong magnet and some metals are very much attracted to the magnet!

also ask the doctor to order blood work for you. your dizziness may be a result of another condition, such as anemia (lack of iron in the blood) or pre-diabetes (sugar levels in blood are too high) or pre-hypertension (blood pressure is too high). if the MRI and the blood tests do not give you any answers, go to an optometrist (eye doctor) and get your eyes checked. even if your vision is slightly off, it could be causing you to feel dizzy and have migraines.

good luck and i hope it's nothing serious- and even if it is, i hope you get the best treatment possible. ^_^

Sometimes the differences between a tumor and a migraine are very slim. With a brain tumor, some symptoms you can expect are dizziness, headaches, vomiting, drowsiness and dilated pupils. Headaches will gradually become more severe and frequent. Other symptoms are: Loss of balance, double vision, personality changes, confusion in everyday situations, difficulties in speech and hearing problems. Brain tumors are rare, so don't go overreacting about headaches. If the headaches and other symptoms become more severe and speed up quickly, this is the time to go see your doctor. If you have that 'gut feeling', I would go, because with my patients, the later they go, the worse it can get.

Go to WebMD - www.webmd.com - and get great information.

Migraines are headaches but are not normal headaches, and symptoms could mimic those of a tumor. My bro-in-law is a migraine sufferer. They can last for days.

Of course, do see a doctor, PLEASE.

you need to go to your doctor, thats the only way your going to know for sure. it sounds like a migrane, believe it or not they won't go away they stay localized. they cause dizziness and nausea as well. but for your own satifaction or so you won't worry about it you need final approval from your doc like i said.
