Can't believe this - I'm trying to submit my tax return. When I went to the Govt Gateway log-in page my PC apparently "remembered" my password. But I've lost it, When I get to the final page to submit the return it asks for the ID & password again, and this time my computer doesn't "remember" the password. Can I find my own passowrd in my cookies - if so how - I cannot see a file that seems to resemble the web address.

you need to e-mail the site and get them to e-mail you a new password to your m.s.n,yahoo or whichever site you use

I'm surprised that the site does not have a 'lost password' facility!
Try the 'Contact Us' section of the website and email the administrator for advice
