Jesus made the claim that He is God. He applied the name of God, "I AM," to Himself in several passages. Here's a few examples: Matthew 14:27, Mark 6:50, Mark 13:6, Luke 21:8, John 4:26, John 6:20, John 8:24, 28, 58, and John 13:19. (Some English translations have mistranslated these verses for the sake of clarity, by changing the words from "I am" to "It is I," or "I am He.") There are several others I have not listed.
Jesus also received worship:
"Then the men in the boat began to worship Jesus, saying, "You certainly are the Son of God!" (Matthew 14:33)
"Suddenly Jesus met them and said, "Greetings!" They went up to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him." (Matthew 28:9)
"They worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy." (Luke 24:52)
"He said, "Lord, I do believe," and worshiped him." (John 9:38)
"I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and on the sea, and everything that is in them, saying, "To the one who sits on the throne and to the lamb be praise, honor, glory, and power forever and ever!" Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!", and the elders bowed down and worshiped." (Revelation 5:13-14)

So, I assume your question is: How can we, (Christians), believe that the Bible is the word of God because no one ever saw him?
So...Jesus and God are one and the same in the Christian religions, that is how we believe it to be. Most of the Bible is not the word of God, only parts of it are claimed to be. But let me say that I think a lot of the Bible is made up and added on to and revised as some people over the last 2,000 years or so wanted it to be. I do not think that to be a Christian, that one even read the Bible. Jesus lived and died for us and us alone. The Christian faith and beliefs are about much more then any Bible could ever relate. That we were created in God's image, that Jesus was born for us and died for us and therefore we walk the same path as he did. We do onto others as we would have them do onto us.No common man or woman can possibly be what Jesus was, we can only do our best to be what he wanted us to be,. good, kind, and above all, charitable. Many Christians today are far from that goal. There is way to much reading of the Bible and alot less of walking that path.

Dude,
The NT was written by humans basically 50-100 years after Christ.
The Koran was written by a human 400 years after Christ.
and it makes claims about Jesus when Mohammed never met Jesus.
I take my info on Jesus from those who physically met him.
Mohammed never saw God either. He saw someone claiming to be an angel.
We call it the Word of God because be believe it's devinly inspired.

We do worship Him: Jehovah God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. The New Testament, with the exception of the Pauline Epistles, were written by Eyewitnesses (Matthew, Mark ,Luke, John, Peter James, and Jude) You are the one who is lying, who is deceived by the lies of Satan, and my hope is that Jesus will reveal to you, that He is the Son of the Living God and the only way to heaven!

I am so sorry for you that you cannot see that the Holy Bible is the word of God. Of course humans wrote it. However they based it on eye-witness accounts and some parts were written by people who had personal contact with Jesus. Paul met the Glorified Christ on the road to Damascus. James and Jude were actually brothers to Jesus. They were the sons of Mary the Mother of Jesus. From your name, I would suppose you to be of Islam. Mo hammed was so badly deceived. He dictated the Koran while in seizures. This can only be of the devil. God does not talk to man when man cannot understand and act responsibly on His word. I hope this does not hurt your feelings. I can only hope that you will know that I say these things out of love for you, my fellow human, and not out of hate.

The new testament has been proven. There are many prophecy's from the ole testament fulfilled in the new. The things described in Acts can still be happening now for Christians. There is no doubt in my mind its all true. After Jesus , the messiah came we needed His teachings recorded and Revelation is full of things that we need to know about future events.

I am glad you agree that Jesus is the son of God.
God is the creator of heaven and earth and all things.
Perhaps read the bible and take your time with it, you may understand it and who and when and why it was written. God Bless-

If your grammar is not any better than this: How can I get into a theological discussion with you. Also the posting would be laborous and no one would read it all. You have also asked a lot of deep questions..
We do worship Jesus..

Old Testament was written by humans too.
Why do you accept it?
How much do you really know about the Bible? If you accept the Old Testament then you HAVE TO accept the New Testament too. Study the prophecies of Daniel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah.

the gospel writers were either apostles who witnesses christ or close friends of the apostles. they were written around 50-90 a.d. Christ did about 29. a.d., so about 20 years passed when the first gospel was written. the gospels are biographies of the life of christ. they cleary show that he made divine claims about himslef, " i and the father are one, etc. etc." Jesus is eternally begotten from god, just like rays proceed from a star>
