I'm American and I don't know how. But shut your mouth in French is forme la bouche. LOL!

I am French and English, so I know it's "pincer vos lèvres"... and by the way "Dixie" shut your mouth is ferme la bouche not forme la bouche because what you said means to form your mouth.

"serrez vos levres" this transliterates to "lock your lips" and is the closest it gets.....hmmm, I´m looking for the humor but don´t get it. Don´t mean to be a killjoy.
BTW previous answers about "perce" which means "pierce" and "pince" which is "pinch" are a bit out there.....
