When the bagged spinach outbreak happened, I read one of the articles from yahoo news that said the number one sold item in grocery stores is bottled water and the number two item was bagged salads. It made me realize I hadn't taken a drink of tap water in probably 8 years!

The water here tastes like crap so bottled water all the way.

If you're tap water isn't good you need to contact your Public Utility Department and let them know. Always buying bottled water is really bad for the environment. You can buy filters. I hope you've recycled those 8 years worth of bottles.

No it isn't threat-free to drink tap water because the authorities is putting intense tiers of fluoride in it to dumb down the inhabitants so pay attention. The brita water clear out isn't good in eliminating this fluoride so use a multi level RO, DM clear out.

I live in Los Angeles. The tap water tastes fine, though I do keep Fiji water in the car by the case.
Granted you don't drink tap water, but:
What do you cook with?
What do you make tea, coffee and Kool Aid with?
What do you wash dishes with?
What do you brush your teeth with?
What do you bathe with?

I live in the country and drink tap water, but would prefer not to. About five years ago it was cloudy and about six years ago it had little shrimps coming out the tap.

All the time I love our water it's the best. When I get bottled water, which isn't a lot, I'm very picky about the brand I buy it has to taste like our well water.

I live in Portland Oregon. We have great tap water here. Everyone drinks it. Unless you live in an old building. My building's really old, so I have to let it run for a while before it tastes ok.

I actually prefer tap water. Believe it or not Chicago has the best tap water. Go figure.

i often drink tap water, usually mixed with orange squash, it tastes the same as bottled to me, i hate paying for water when i can get it free from my tap

I drink tap water. It's clean, safe, and doesn't taste funny. And it's (almost) free.
