Well a Scotsman asking a question about English speaking countries that don`t have their own native toungue wouldn`t pick an answer that includes the Scots. At the drop of a hat, and I hope my fellow Scots will add a few more answers, there is Gaelic, Doric, Scots, Lallans and being a Glaswegian I am of course naturally born bi-lingual. Skillman feel free to email me with a few more local Scots languages.
Of course Gaelic would still be a well used language in Scotland if it hadn`t been for the English invaders in our country. In the aftermath of the 45 rebellion, so parinoid were the English that they banned the use of this fine language in public places and also forbid the teaching of it in schools.
