The bible says that true love never ends.

Live by this scripture...and your love will last forever....
You cannot control how others love....
Only how you will love.............

You can believe in the fairytales or you can believe in reality.

True love is selfless, and exists whether you're with the person you love, or not. Love in a relationship has to be a bit selfish. It take a lot of work a lot of communication and understanding and compromise, etc etc. And it can last forever if both parties are mature and realistic and are willing to put that work into it. And if it doesn't work out, the love can still be there, but just exist in a different form, even if the relationship ended by betrayal. But that is a kind of love so rarely found today that it is almost a myth.

Ask yourself what is love and what is infatuation (i.e. a crush). Love has several unique characteristics that infatuation doesn't have. For example, a person who loves another person would be willing to sacrifice his/her life for the other person, as if it's his/her duty to die rather than to preserve one's life. An infatuated person doesn't care as much about the other person and may very well forget about that person when another better looking and/or richer person comes along. Love also takes a long while (at least 2-3 years) to cultivate because you are getting to know more about another person. Infatuation can take months, weeks or even days to fully cultivate. A loving person will see another person's flaws/weaknesses and still care about him/her even after many years. An infatuated person just sees physical qualities (such as the color of another person's eyes or the physique of another person) and overlooks the emotional/psychological problems. If you want to have a serious relationship with someone and you want this relationship to be successful, you need to show that you sincerely care about your lover's feelings, his family, his interests, etc. If you feel that he is doing something wrong, you should tactfully talk to him about what you feel that he is doing wrong and 9 out of 10 times he will listen to you because you said it in such a nice way.

Love does last forever, but it doesn't always last forever in one particular relationship all the time.

A little bit of the love you once had for someone will always be with you, no matter if your still together or not. Love is one of those things that you can never totally forget, and it changes you forever.

Only if you work at it, nurture it and attend to it. My hubby and I once went to a councillor who explain marriage was like a bank account every bad emotion was a withdrawal every good emotion was a deposit. If the withdrawals out numbered the deposits then the marriage would bankrupt. Doing little things for each other doesn't take much effort but pays off on bad days.

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.

If you have the time, and you are looking for someone, complete this simple

there are different types of love and I believe that some of them do last forever. I'm divorced and even though I am not inlove with my exhusband, he is the father of my children and I will always love him as a friend.

Honey, what should I say? I've sworn never to love anyone. But most likely, it doesn't. TRUE love lasts forever.
