I could explain things to you but it would be a waste of time because you could not understand.
Look in the Bible and you will see many contradictions within the Bible. Way in the beginning of the Bible it gives the ten commandments. Throughout the Bible you see the ten commandments being broken.
You see inaccuracies in almost every religion. In the Bible Jesus was immersed when He was baptized. The Catholic church sprinkles little babies and calls that a baptism.
In the Bible it states that God will talk through prophets. None of the Protestant churches have prophets.
One could go on and on about inaccuracies and contradictions in ever religion.
One only has to pray to God and find out the truth for himself.

LDS was formed by a man that was an Occult leader.
1) There have be over 250 revision in the Book of Mormon.
2) They try to mimic the Archaic language of 1611, but the KJV bible has a rhythm that is parallel to Hebrew, Greek and Latin texts.
3) There are allot inconsistencies with in the churches history.
This goes on.

Ok, now these mormons kept coming to my door, which was alright at first cuz I am extremely tolerant of religions that spread love and honor of each other and God. So they come back and back for weeks , I think a whole month. I had question after question, they did not answer me ( ie, where do u stand on gays, abortion, politics ) their faces were so like Homer "d'oh ~ oh no we got a thinker!" And they told me to pray to God, and ask to know if the book of Mormon was true. No problem, I am very open minded, No no answer ~ alright, what now?" Later I find out that mormons think that if u don't become baptized by them and become one of them, yep u go to eternal damnation. Catholics and Jehovahs all feel the same way, "This is the only church - the mother church all else is evil." Where in the bible does it say this world will be of one religion? There are also inaccuracies in the bible. I don't think God wanted us to stone each other, or cut off your brother's wife's hand if you don't want her. My explanation: what is written by God is very apparent, it feels right. The goodness the faith, the completeness Jesus gave us as testimony makes your soul feel good, and close to him. There are parts that were ebellished and completely altered by man and those are very apparent by the disdain, and lack of trust in God but in themselves. Mormons are a mess, but I think no religion got it as wrong the catholics, they in my mind are an abomination to God - BUT I believe we are judged by your works, not by what u call yourself, God knows if you're good. But I think they look for feeble minds easy to control and so on.
Innaccuracy is of man, never God.
But I feel your faith :)
sorry so long!

I am a member of the church and will respond to a few of the comments from the website. I won’t bother answering all of them as you probably do not care. I encourage you to read the Book of Mormon and the Bible before you criticize and spread anti-mormon rhetoric. If you have any original and sincere questions please contact me. Otherwise, remember: Thou shalt not bear false witness.
Adam’s fall
False? What are you talking about? Have you even read the Old Testament? Adam’s fall is when he and Eve were removed from the Garden of Eden for disobedience (Genesis 3). They partook of the forbidden fruit and were thus cast out from the Lord’s presence. Adam and Eve did not begin to have children until Genesis 4, after the fall. Adam fell that man may be is true.
Birth of Jesus
This is not a contradiction. Bethlehem was a very small suburb of Jerusalem. Since it was many years since the Book of Mormon people had left Jerusalem, most of them would have never heard of Bethlehem. Alma chose to say Jerusalem, a city that they would have heard of before. It is similar to the reason we call Dulles Airport, Washington Dulles rather than Sterling Virginia International, despite the fact that it is 26 miles from Washington D.C. in Sterling, VA.
God dwells in the righteous
You are comparing two completely unrelated topics and twisting them. The first scritpture is saying that God will not dwell with those who are unworthy or unholy, but with the righteous. A scripture that you can’t possibly disagree with. From reading the scriptures, we learn that God himself doesn’t come inside, but rather he dwells in us through his Holy Spirit as given to the apostles. The second scripture is saying just that! That God himself is not dwelling in us. This is not a contradiction.
Salvation
This website reminds me of the pharisees of old trying to ensnare Jesus with their deceptive words. If you actually read the text of 2 Nephi 25:23 it in NO WAY states that we are saved by our own works. It clearly states that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do, which is why they were teaching their children to believe in Christ and be reconciled to God. This in no way conflicts with Biblical teachings. We know from the bible that Jesus is the way, the truth and the light, and that no one returns to the Father but through him. However, Jesus also said If ye love me, keep my commandments. As desciples of Christ, we keep the commandments to the best of our ability. It is our responsibility as Christians to be the salt of the earth and a light unto the world. We will be saved by Christ, not by our works. Please stop twisting things you have never even read.
