What is the best beer?

I personally like Corona, but I have just learned that the dark beers actually taste good and don't taste like the sludge I thought they would!

Beers, like most food and drinks are really acquired taste. Dark beers I can recommend are:
Guinness (old time Irish favorite)
Leffe Brun (Belgium beer)
Roshfort 10 (Belgium beer with 10-12% alcohol)
Westmalle brun Triple (Belgium beer with 10-12% alcohol)

For advanced beer lovers, I recommend beers from Belgium called "trapiste". Those beers made in abbies, have usually high alcohol content and a great and full taste. The last two I recommended are such.

Dark beer or hoppy beer?
IPA's are great tasting for a heavier beer, they are made with a lot of hops
On the lighter side would be a Heifenweizen. These are an unfiltered wheat beer, usually served with a slice of lemon.
Another is a white Belgium beer served with a slice of orange, Blue Moon is a good one.

Summer lightning is best dark beer.
Laffe is best medium.
Bud is best light beer.

Almost any dark beer from Germany- they are definitely the "Biermeisters"! Also try "Dos Equis amber"- an immigrant from Germany founded the brewery in Mexico!

My opinion would be corona and dos equis xx , but maybe thats because i live close to the border and I buy them at 75 cents each.
