I tend to get strongly emotionaly involved while watching TV movies, TV series and so on. Sometimes, when the movie end, I feel strong depression like... everything is gone, I want to be part of the film and then I dream about being put back to film.
I have I normal life.
How to cure this?

Maybe you should stop watching these movies, and just realize you are who you are. You're NOT a character in the film. You should watch more comedies, and have fun. Just think about this whole thing. It's truly "ridiculous"..............watch with friends, and, almost make fun of the movie. Other they that, go see a Shrink ~~~

If we didn't dream and take in everyone Else's thoughts IE through a Movie or TV then we would be sadder.Do you have a TV in the bedroom that you sometimes fall asleep and leave on?
If you do and If you have an overactive brain, which isn't a bad thing, you can pickup in your subconscious state, what happens on the TV when you are asleep. Some people use this to further educate themselves, ie a new language or when you need to cram for exams etc.
I get depressed like most people, the fear of mortality etc, free your mind and your a-r-s-e will follow (so they say). Feeling sad at what you saw in a Movie is normal, like feeling angry at a persistent advert you don't like annoys you.

Try and be an insomniac like me that watches TV 24/7 and tell me how sad, upset, irritated ,depressed suicidal and generally all around *issed off you feel about life.....!
Keep your TV on when you sleep.

I can speak four languages (don't know what everything means though), cook better then Gary Rhodes, Drive better than Ayrton Senna , Dance like John Travolta. But can't clean up and can't sing (typical male defect housekeeping eh!)

You could simply be emotionally sensitive. Maybe you get a sort of "high" watching these movies/tv shows and when it is over you come down from this "high". Try doing "busy work" after watching TV or a movie...play a game, light reading, take a walk...just something to take your mind off of it.

Stop living your life as if you were actually included into the plot of the movie/TV. If your life is that boring, take your worries down to skid row and see if you can help someone who is not acting out a part. Note, television and the movies are a form of entertainment. Skid-row is of real life changing consequences.

Your life is normal but boring. Why don't you help some people, at a nursing home or soup kitchen? You need to visit the old and sick and get involved in real people's lives so that you don't have to adopt lives from the television.

If you're going to feel others' pain, it's better if it's REAL pain, don't you think?

Try to tell yourself that it's just a movie or show and that you can watch it without getting involved or losing yourself. Have standards about what you like and what you don't, don't expect the movie, etc. to be entertaining just because it's meant to be.
