So here is my SERIOUS question. If you are not from the USA but living here and don't like the policies and/or the people and "your Country" is better then why not just leave here and go back to your native place?

Well said.

It is stupid to come over to a country that isn't yours and disrespect the citizens there, when you refuse to leave.

I agree with you. Good question.

To make things clear for you, here's a bit of who I am.
I'm a Canadian and a liberal.
I don't like Bush and his policies which are adversely affecting the whole world.
I don't ridicule USA and its citizens, but sometimes I have to wonder why aren't Americans questioning their government and its policies more? Why does it seem that Americans buy so much into the propaganda being spewed by networks such as FOX and are unable to look at the facts?
Fact 1 - Saddam had no connections to Al-Qaeda
Fact 2 - Iraq had no WMD
Fact 3 - Bush should have focused in Afghanistan.
Fact 4 - Contractors connected to the Bush government are making billions due to the Iraqi war.
Fact 5 - Bush is running the US economy into the ground by running huge deficits which for some reason most Americans seem not to care.
Fact 6 - Iraq has turned into a training ground for terrorists and extremists.
Fact 7 - Climate change is here and is causing havoc on our planet, yet Bush keeps his head buried in the sand
Fact 8 - Bush is dragging the reputation of the US in the mud by condoning torture and secret prisons, and acting unilaterally.

When you have all these facts and more out in the open and you still have so many people eating the crap their government is selling, sometimes the temptation to ridicule America and its citizens might be a bit too much...

With great power comes great responsibility. I wish America was more responsible in its actions and attitude towards the rest of the world...
America had so much support and good faith towards it after 9/11… Do you remember that? What happened? Oh, yeah. Bush and his band of radical neo cons…

I am one of those who moved here from another country, and I like being into U.S. politics. I have nothing against the country, but I don't agree with many of its policies either. That's not called anti-Americanism, just having your own opinion about things. Now, if you say that if I'm a foreigner I shouldn't have an opinion on things then that is called discmination, because even though I am not from here I still have freedom of Speech.

P.S. for the guy that said Latinos can't achieve first world countries, you need some education to see WHY we haven't got there yet (not because we're inferior) and how some nations are actually getting there like Chile and even Mexico.

Most of the folks that ridicule Americans and America and are here resent thier own lives because they didn't come here because it was a good place ...they came here because it is a place that is far better to make money then their own home land.
That's why we can't allow those kinds to come and live here as anything but low paid slaves/wage earners that do what "Americans won't do". Let them come ...as workers only.
We don't need their families or inlaws. We need worker types.
If the family wants to come, then all involved need to apply for citizenship legally.
If these people had to get in line and be legal ...most wouldn't. They are like children. They want what they want ...NOW!
They may be good workers but they are not good citizen material unless they go through the immigration program.
Most won't do that.
If you don't want to be here legally, we will hunt you down and remove you, one way or the other. If you ***** and bellyache about it, that is to be in America and have to follow the law, we will know who you are and where to find you.
Keep you heads down and your activities legal or we will find you and remove you from our land and country.
Welcome to being FREE!
This is what it feels like to being an American.
Behaive yourselves or else.

You honestly think Mexicans are going to go back to Mexico? Face it they are incapable of developing a first world country (aside from the European ones in Spain & Portugal) so they come here.

Its like an infestation which will eventually bring the US down to Mexico's level.

wow, real original, never heard that one before:''if you don't like it here then just leave''. I bet when your forefathers came to the country they got the same line, then they made America what it is today. The great thing about America is that it belongs to the world, all cultures shape it, all people decide what is american, telling someone who wasn't born on US soil to get out isn't any different than me telling you to get out. Get over yourself.

their countries don't give them enough...free medical, free education, free food, housing, clothing and on & on & on. It is up to middle-class Americans to be sure our government listens & stop this War on Middle-class Americans! Keep calling & writing - we have only just begun!

I totally agree with the suggestion you provided for your question. i.e."If you don't like living here why not just leave here." Amen to that.

I'd expand that notion to EVERYONE!

If you don't like the USA, please exercise your right to travel and leave. The fact that you stay indicates you DO believe this is the best place to live, so shut your lying yappers.
