I am aware of the fact that 99 out of every 100 people are basicly good people. Nice, loving people, no matter from what culture, race, gender or religion they are.
I'm very interested in what causes what I call the 'dark side of religion'. What happened to a person before he starts to condemn gay people based on an old book? What happened to a person's brain before he kills himself and others in the name of his/her God? What happened to a person's brain before he confuses his/her imagination with the so called one and only truth? Those sorts of things I truly wonder about.
Most of the answers I get start with 'they don't all do that'. For some that's even the full message of their answer. I don't even get how that _is_ an answer.
What has happened to this planet if the basic assumption is that everybody generalizes?

most of these people are simply scared and lonely. they need to feel accepted by others and will seek it out from any source. the weakest of these people are usually the ones who become suicide bombers and abortion clinic bombers. although i am an atheist, i know it is not just religions who prey upon these kinds of people. to list them all would take up way to much space.

This Bi-sexual Christian knows that the condemnation of Gays is born of the devil, and advanced through the devils lies. There is Grace from God for faith, not how pure that you could be. A Gay person tht stops being Gay is like anyone else, still a sinner. Not because of what he is, but because it's in his nature. It's in OUR nature.
About the Dark Side:
Confusion. And one day it will be revealed that the one who decieved the world is Satan, and he will be cursed to a place that was prepared for him. Unfortuantely, all those who God did not choose will be there also. That's why I am here; to witness to those God has chosen, as He gives me the words to say.

If your mother died, would you eat her flesh?
Would you condemn someone else who does?
Do you think it is right for a 19 year old girl to have sex with her biological father, if they both consent? They have protection so that the question of conception does not come into play.
What happened in your brain as you answer these questions? On what do you base your mores? Most people use religion for theirs.

We all don't generalize. .....You know you were just begging for that.
Do you really believe that people will give you the real reason for hating gays or killing someone in the name of their god?
You also must define what is "TRUTH".Humans have been searching for that answer since they climbed out of the trees.As of yet no one has the answer to that one .Will the "Truth" be so clear that all humans will believe it?Only the "Truth" and time will tell.

I don't generalize, therefore you are wrong. You said "....if the basic assumption is that everybody generalizes?" and that isn't true, I DO NOT.
If one part of what you say is wrong, then all of it is wrong.
But your questions are too long to answer, perhaps you should ask them one at a time. Gays? unnatural. Genocides and suicides? Sick in the head. The misled? they are well, misled.

Dont know why people do that or why most highly educated people seem to have the least common sense. I think that people twist things to justify their own beliefs.

There are answers to all of your questions in the Bible. And you have many. Sooo why not go to the nearest reference book on all these subjects, THE BIBLE, and find what you're looking for?

generalization is self defense. It means that I can offend you but you can hold me accountable for my actions, behold the last line of defense for cowards. makes your head hurt some days,hunh????
