Jeremiah, in the Old Testament, spoke of a New Covenant (or Testament). Here is the passage where this was predicted:
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." (Jeremiah 31:31-34)
The New Testament was written by those close to Him, and told the story of Christ's ministry on the earth. Other letters addressed problems that were cropping up in the church, and the Apostles helped to solve these.

My famous prophecy is the particular city the place Jesus could be born. not basically did Micah say (Micah 5:2) He could be born in Bethlehem yet WHICH Bethlehem. Bethlehem Ephrathah became right into a small city approximately 5 miles south of Jerusalem approximately 2,460 ft above sea point. the different Bethlehem became into approximately 5 miles north of Jerusalem. there are a number of prophecies interior the previous testomony that got here genuine. There are people who make predictions and there are people who call themselves prophets yet there is not any different e book in the international that would evaluate with the bible whilst it consists of fulfilled prophecy. The Jean Dixon's of the international make predictions and at superb 10 % of them come genuine. adult men like Nostradamus write books of so referred to as prophecies and are proved incorrect time and time back. And fairly generally the predictions made are so clouded by potential of complicated language that the fulfillments could be twisted to intend virtually something. not so with bible prophecy. Bible prophecies are virtually continually particular and specific. success of bible prophecies are oftentimes obtrusive and are continually a hundred pc precise. in fact, the bible itself has some thing to declare approximately understanding no count if or not a individual giving a prophecy is a genuine prophet of God or not. "If what a prophet declares interior the call of the Lord would not ensue or come genuine, it rather is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. don't be terrified of him." attempt going to here for extra data:

The Old Testament was a guideline for people who lived before Jesus Christ. The New Testament is God's New covenant with the people after Jesus died for your sins and made it possible for you to confess your sins and to be forgiven. Without that no one would be of grace enough to go to Heaven.

Parts of the Bible are true and others are not. This is due to man's selection of what should appear in the Bible, and also to mistranslation and mistransliteration.

No. It is a historical fiction. That means that while it mentions some historical events, the story is fictional. God is a myth.
