i love spinach, cant stay away from it, but with this ecoli thing, i am afraid to ever eat it again. my sister and everyone in my family eats it and none of them have gotten sick, but it seems that anything bad that could ever happen with out killing/disabling me, happens to me. what should i do.

I think you are worrying about nothing! As long as the spinach is washed and cooked, there should never be a problem.

E. coli is a bacteria that prefers protein, so there should never be a problem with fresh vegetables.

Always keep cooked and raw meat separate and keep vegetables away from both.

Your risk is VERY VERY LOW!!!

There have only been 9 bags of spinach found so far with the ecoli bacteria in it.

If you really want to play it safe, go to a farmers market if there is one near your house.

Enjoy your spinach - don't let this minor scare chase you away from healthy spinach.

Even during the MAD COW scare a few years back, very few people actually got sick.

The ecoli thing is only occuring in bagged spinach. Canned spinach like you see popeye the sailor man eating is safe. Every store that sells bagged spinach from sea to shining sea in the US has pulled the dangerous spinach from their shelves. If you can buy it now you should be ok! Don't worrie.

If it is package in San Juan Bautista, Ca it is probably not a good idea to eat. They tracked down the tainted packages to that manufacturer. Buy organic or other brands. Stay away from Dole Spinach because they are the company that contracts that manufacturer.

I heard on the news last night that it's safe to eat spinach now, as long as it wasn't part of the recalled spinach. :)

i'm no well-known practitioner, yet eco-friendly vegetables incorporate a great style of nutrition ok. nutrition ok can thicken blood. So, in case you're taking blood thinning drugs or have a bent of to get blood clots (beginning administration, varicose veins, and so on.) might would desire to prefer to shrink the vegetables. otherwise, in case you do not recommendations the gas, consume up!
