It is improper, wrong to hit you in public and in private. You shouldn't have to put up with this kind of abuse. I'm surprised that you still call him your boyfriend, but hey, I never pretended that I understand women.

Girl no!! He should respect you anywhere you are. Do Not Let him hit you cause he thinks that he has control over you and that he owns you and so on. And it makes you look like you will let anyone hit on you and stuff. Whenever he hits you and you have noone to hit him back pick up a bottle and hit him in his face and call the law!!!
