It specifically states in the bible, before King James' MISTRANSLATION: "Thou shalt not suffer a POISONER to live". It was purposely mistranslated for political purposes.

I think you got your answer here: Most Chistians do not want to burn witches...but there are obviously a few that have answered you that would if they could....

Oh, and BTW...witches DO indeed exist. They are everywhere. Just start asking and talking to people outside of the church.

I am agnostic now. Mostly believe in god.

I would say that only some changed to be more tolerant .. others both individuals and groups have been come more intolerant of the last few years.

Although one could translate the word in the Bible to poisoner instead of witch .. then the phrase .. you should not allow a poisoner to live makes more sense. But most do not translate it this way.

A dangerous key teaching by many Christian folk is that if one sees blessings that are being done in a name other than Jesus or if somehow that the mircale cannot be traced directly to Jesus then these miracles are false .. and from the devil.

As long as that teaching is in place then even though Christians don't burn witches, they might be confused on what TO do -- and wish that they had

LOL -- Where do some get these crazy thoughts regarding Christians? You are speaking of when, let's see maybe in the 1600's? How long ago was that and don't ya think people have changed since then? Christians are nothing like what you or some other people think. Rather than judge all Christians by what "some" do, why not see for yourself by visiting a church? We don't bite I promise. I just love God and love to help others. The only thing I am fanatical about is my love for the Lord Jesus Christ and how He has changed my life. But I'm not going to push it on you or anyone if they don't want to hear it. Besides, God is the one to judge and He will take care of those who practice witchcraft. It's not up to me.

I'm still laughing. Christians "still" want to burn witches, huh? Did some of "us" change? Tell me something, which of "us" Christians used to burn witches? Not me. Then "some of us change' ? That implies that some Christians are still burning witches. Have you seen a witch burning this week? this month? this year? this decade? this last 100 years? Cmon, wake up and stop blaming groups for what was done by some hundreds of years ago.

I've never wanted to burn witches. As far as the Bible is concerned, sin is sin. There is no sin worse than another, and there's no reason for a Christian to want to kill anybody. A Christian's sin is just as bad as anyone else's, but Christians have asked Jesus Christ to cover up their sins with his blood. As a result, Christians should be doing their best, with the power of the Holy Spirit, to stay away from those things that are wrong. If I were to kill a witch, it would be like me choosing to send that person to Hell. That is not my decision. That is God's decision, but he has given the ability for each and every person to choose that for themelves. Remember, not choosing is still a choice.

Deuteronomy 18 : 9 - 13 ....When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth to thee , thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations ...There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire , or that useth divination , or an observer of times , or an enchanter , or a witch ... Or a charmer , or a consulter with familiar spirits , or a wizard , or a necromancer.. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord : and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee , Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God ... ...........So the answer to your question is NO , the Lord will take care of you in His on way , it is not up to Christians to worry about you and your abomination !!!!!!! You have heard the gospel message , and you have chosen to ignore it , you have used your "free will " to not believe , we as Christians have chosen to live by the gospel of Jesus which is our "free will "choice !!!

Wiches and all sort of witchcraft and evil practices was ordered in the old testament to be executed. Since we are living in the New Testament, The preaching of the gospel is a must to every christian, whether they accept it or not, the gospel must be preached. Why? To give this people a change to renew thier mind in hearing the gospel.

Besides, God has all the rights to burn anyone in Hell, those who opposeses his laws, not only the witches.

If there were really such a "being" as witches, yours would be a relevant question but since there are only self-proclaimed witches that have no power whatsoever, your question is not relevant. But then a good witch burning once in a while wouldn't be such a bad thing, would it? My advice to you is to test your powers by driving drunk, and see if you can cast a spell on the cops that stop you so they let you go. Let us know how it works.
My God still loves you no matter how foolish you are.

I suppose next you are going to claim you are a minority, right?

Thanx

Now let's see.
They don't make wood like they used to?
Witchcraft has become to commercial?
Your daddy no longer has the keys?

Your daddy never changed and he will still burn you when he has the chance. I wouldn't rest to sweetly on the law. When push comes to shove the law is on no ones side.

Could it be that witches aren't what they used to be? About all you have left is entertainment value, if that.
