On "Nascar Sunday" it's beer can chicken or nothing! The one time I got to go to the race @ Talledega, we fixed beer can chicken on the grill & is now a Sunday tradition. Take a whole chicken, remove innards & rinse well ( You can use cornish game hens as well, just use pony size cans of beer ) Sprinkle with your favorite dry rub, open beer can, use can opener & make a couple more slits in top & insert up chickens cavity, legs down " sittling on the grill" Grill over medium coals 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Serve with your favorite BBQ sides such as coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, etc......Enjoy!
