In my AP US History class (quarter grade). My whole family has gone ballistic. I know its an A but the idiot teacher didnt enter my grades properly it seems. I'm feeling really dejected. What should I do? That B just ruined my report card. I feel like commiting suicide.
P.S. I've never gotten a B grade before

Oh Todd, you are a bit of a perfectionist. A B+ is a graDE MANY KIDS WOULD BE THRILLED TO GET!!!! If you really think the grade is wrong, you could talk to her. Or just move on, accept it
Tell your family there is only one God and you're not him!!!!!

Wow... I was exactly the same way in high school. I know there really nothing I can say to make you feel better but, for what its worth, I learned quickly in college that one B does not ruin your report card. You have to consider that you are taking a course that is nearly college level in high school. Also, if you are sure your teacher entered a grade in incorrectly you should be able to easily prove you earned an A. You are obviously an intelligent person if this is your first B ever, so you should be able to rationally approach the teacher and discuss your grade. Good luck :)

You're never gotten a B before so you aren't stupid. But committing suicide is the stupidest thing a person could do. Don't do it! Talk to your teacher about your grade and ask him/her to fix it if you're sure you deserve and A. If he doesn't want to change it don't sweat it. Ask yourself a question, are you willing to commit suicide because your family is disappointed in you or because you are disappointed in yourself? You can't spend your whole life trying to please others. Its only one grade. Don't worry.
