im wondering if some local people from manhattan could tell me of some cool vintage/cheap chic places to shop in manhattan.... i love the sort of grungy artist, vintage look. pls, any suggestion!!!!!

Definitely shop in the village, but for some specific streets, go to Broadway between 8th street and Canal street. Also, walk down 8th street (also called St. Marks) and shop on that street and just around that area... like between 3rd and 1st avenues around 8th and down to Canal Street. It is a large area to cover, but there are some great stores with just that look that you are after... and some places you can really find some good deals.

Call 1-800-NYC-Guide/1-800-692-4843...They give you a free guide with price of hotels and ratings and coupons attractions to see and such. They also tell you what places to eat and there prices.I used the NYC Guide and we saved $50.00 in one day on are trip. Lastly it also tells you neat little facts.You wont regret doing that.
P.S.-They ask you when your coming so the guide book is made specially for the time of year you are going.

all the different solutions are strong. i'd like to operate Loehman;s on seventh ave tween 17-16 st. also there are pattern revenues interior the showrooms interior the shape district. lower priced knockoffs (both in cost and high quality) on Canal St.
