Small talk is small, but it transitions into conversations.
Weather, clothes, compliments, classes, work, and so on are all topics to keep in mind. Have any sort of opinion? Say it. There you go, that's small talk, but the best thing you can do is practice.

If you have a blank mind, teach others , there is a million people who would pay big bucks to blank their mind even for 5 minutes however, if what you are saying I don't know how to approach women and talk to them, that is totally different, Before you go out this day, make up 5 good questions to ask the first lady you meet. I don't care if it is a 50 year old lady at the bus stop. Practise asking questions on people you do not know, until you are comfortable. Please ask reasonable intelligent non offencive questions. Where would be the best place to buy a lovely living plant for a friend? You may be delighted with the responce you get as people love to help others. Soon you will be able to converse with friends and strangers and look at all the information you have gathered. Lucky you

Well, just say any random crap, anything that pops through your mind, because even its the most random thing the girl your chatting to will laugh and think your funny or "cute"
If you pick a nice enough girl, tell her you struggle to keep conversations going and she should hopefully help and eventually you won't be able to stop talking! i mean you can never get chicks to stop talking anyway so you shouldn't have a problem.
Just smile and look good and it'll get you far!!! =)
