Fresh grated ginger mixed with a shot of wheat grass added to a cup of carrot juice. Also avoid dairy products during the winter and fall months when the flu/cold season is active. Dr. Andrew Weil makes this fabulous supplement that you can by at Dillards or anywhere they carry the "Origins "makeup. skin care line. It's called "Plantidote and comes in a small bottle that you take a daily dropperful of each day. It's packed with mega mushroom combinations but has a sweet fruity flavor. You won't get the flu if you take it. Also I use a product called "KyoGreen" a mixed greens powder that I add to watered down juice. It'll give you more energy which will help your immune system..Echinachea of course as well as zinc and vitamin C. Soup made with fresh garlic, onions and chicken broth ought to get you back to good health in no time.( These are some of my best tips, lol!)

Wheat germ, liver and onions, brewers yeast, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and legumes. Avoid all sugary foods and junk food.
take vitamin C 500-1000 mg 4 times a day (if diarrhea occurs, cut back!), a good high potency multivitamin-mineral, and Vitamin E. Get plenty of good quality protein to make white blood cells and antibodies. Vitamin A 10-25000 units daily (Unless you are pregnant or at risk of getting pregnant). A b50 complex daily is good. Astragalus or Echinacea (unless you have a fever) help your immune system. Drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest.
Good luck!

Broccolli, carrots, dark green leafy vegetables, fruit, (minimal meat ~ ie: fish, and skinless chicken) all pulses,(lentils, soyabean products) and drinking plenty of pure water. I know this works if you maintain a sensible overview and a reasonably strict routine. Besty of luck!

Anything in the vegetable section. Deep green leafy vegetables for best effect, unless you're going to supercook the nutrients out of them.
