I've had this happen to me and it was a little bit of depression which lifted in the afternoon and also my poor choices of food nutrition was a factor. It's fairly normal at college age , I believe, to feel the way you do sometimes. But it'll get better with time especially if you get rest, good nutrition, time just for yourself which you plan and can look forward to each day. Hey , maybe it 's not scientific, but it is based on my 58 years of observations . Hope you find something that works for you. Good Luck.

Let me get this right - are you saying you sleep 18 hours a day, and still you are sleepy?

My advice would be to exercise & eat regularly timed meals, institute regularity into your life.

Whatever you do, if a doctor prescribes you an antidepressant, research them on the internet BEFORE you take the first one......

Can't give you a scientific one, but I would suggest a medical one. Discuss this with your doctor, have a blood work up and ask about depression. Also look at your diet and make sure you are getting the foods your body needs.

try to get some more sleep, and excercise if u can, at first it may make u more tired, but once u do it enough, ull have more energy, and eating healthier is never a bad idea!
