Muhammad clearly forbid trying to be like women, so why do muslim men do it? Muhammad said shaving is haraam and wearing earrings is like trying to be a female.

shaving face hair is not forbiden
but wearing earrings is forbiden because its act like girls
Do not judge ISLAM from some Muslim people, not all MUSLIMS give good example of what ISLAM is really about. We cannot judge Christianity from CHRISTIAN people because they are hardly any one practices the real CHRISTIANITY these days.

Becuase people don't always respect religion. Remeber that religion is most often an old practise that has maintained its role partially over coming centuries and some of the rules in a certain religion are not compatible with our daily life at present century. Now to answer you question in other words, why do people kill another human being when it is forbidden?

So their beards won't burn when they kapow into the side of large buildings with their borrowed 747. They want to wear earrings so they look good immediately afterwards when they meet Allah. Koran says the sign of dooms day - men will look like women and women like men ......if u see these days fashion in clothes and hair its exactly whats happening ......other sign ...music and dancing will become very common in-fact in every home...that's Whit is happening now..isn't it....
