Umm...you are TOTALLY passive aggressive...and that's not a good thing. Have you considered just TALKING to him...and if that doesn't work consider maybe you are wasting your time trying to change someone who doesn't want to change? The things you've suggested are not only immature, they're what a nagging mother might do...and that's just creepy
"Hun, have you seen my shoes?"
"I hid them until you do the dishes"
or
"Hey mom, have you seen my gameboy?"
"I put it away until you clean up your room, mister."
Remember, you picked him and if you don't like what you see now...maybe you should either live with it and realize people aren't robots to be ordered around or cut your losses and move on. Women have an innate need for some reason to waste time on men who aren't their ideal men *note: men who exist in soap operas and romance novels DON'T exist...stop trying to make your man into something he isn't.*

A man that loves his woman doesn't need to be controlled. If you can't control your man, it's because he doesn't want to be controled by you specifically. A man in love will jump thru hoops for his woman and do what and when she says. The problem sounds like your man deep down doesn't want you.

If i am at a place where i feel i need to control him, it's probably not a healthy relationship. What i need to do at that point is consider my options. Can we heal our relationship? Or do i need to move on. If i could control my man, he would be a whimp in my eyes, and i would never respect him or have sex with him again.

Very hypocritical to ask how to manipulate another on the etiquette board. Well not hypocritical but ironic. How about using a thing called communication, ya know talking to him, honestly, without deceiving and spiteful manipulations.

U cannot control an adult, and games like that r just annoying and frustrating 4 both of u!
Tell him what u need. Not in a harsh way, but in a way that he knows you r serious about what ur feeling.

It depends on the situation. I mean you shouldn't change him into something he's not? Yet if he's an abusive type or someone that is a slob. You may never change him. I mean unless he gets counseling. Doesn't matter what you do, they will always be jerk. Now if you got yourself a nice guy? What's to change? I love him the way he is?

I have no reason to control my man.I think it is sad that someone feels the need to control another human being. As my man is an adult,he has the free will to do as he pleases. He doesn't try to control me so why should I have the need to control him.

Yes, dump him! If your idea of a relationship is control, you are better off without him. And my guess is that he is, too.

Sorry, but I don't want to try to control my man. I want to be with someone who not only respects me, but someone that I can respect. You need to grow up. If you need to "control" your man, you are painfully insecure. I feel sorry for you.
