Redoing iTunes playlists on a new computer?

My old computer died with the exception of the hard drive. I've got all the music tranferred onto my new one and downloaded iTunes. Strange thing is even though all my playlists are there, they are empty so I have to drag all the songs back into their playlists, one by one. Is there an easier way?

EDIT - All my playlists are listed in the column on the left. For example I have a Christmas 2005 playlist, but when I click it, there are no songs there. I have to put them all back in.

what u mean by dey are here but they ARE EMPTY? Well go to Apple.com and maybe they can understand ur question.
