The only thing that is transmitted between dogs and humans are parasites, like worms and fleas, or rabies. You cannot catch a virus from your dog, and it cannot catch it from you because we are made of completely different DNA.

Yes anything humans can get dogs can get. My dog got a cold a while ago so yes he can catch your cold. Don't worry though when dogs get a cold they usually just sneeze quite a bit and maybe will puck once or twice. If you don't want him to get your cold handle him less he will be less likely to catch it.

no. *most* diseaeses cannot cross between species in dogs and humans. A few can, but no the common cold.

no any disease you have is a human one and cant be transmitted to animals, i also have a yorkie and shes lush.
