They are cute at a glance, but they take little tootsie-roll dumps in my house when you turn your back for a second, and they squeal like little piglets when people come over and try to pick them up. I want to do evil things to them, but I restrain myself. Anybody ever had this feeling?

yes, it can be rather tempting to make someone else feel sorry. you ought to remember, though, it's still a dog, an animal, not a human. it can't really help its yappy nature. you could try to take it to obedience school, or train it yourself.
if i can't appeal to your moral side, then know that it's probably against some law to be cruel to animals. besides, i bet you'd be ambushed by the animal protection society or something like that the next day.

i have one, but shes just there shes mean when she doesnt know you thats about it. buy my grandmothers is sooo annoying. i do things i know she doesnt like. if she runs away from me i just run after her. sometimes if its just me and my boyfriend there i run her into the bathroom and lock it. that way we dont have to hear her yapping.

They are probably too small to beat, so I would wack them with big rolled up newspaper when you feel the inclination

They are the most obnoxious breed of dogs....yes....but don't bother them. No need to be cruel when they can't help it.....they're dogs.
