Flirting is more of a verbal thing, not so much this jumping and flicking thing.
You just need to say Hi in a way that shows you like them, smile a lot ( in a natural way ) ... give compliments... that shows you pay attention to the way they look and the things they do... and do not hug or jump on someone, unless they very much like you also. You will embarrass them if you do that.
It is the compliments and the smiling that works the best.

Hon, you sound really young, as a female let me tell you males pretty well consider any touching as flirting, even if you don't. and If they touch you 9 out 10 they are flirting. Males use touch different than female, we use it to show support they use it to show dominance or sexual interest.

Yep. I know it sounds a lot like professional wrestling, but all of that poking, pinching and pulling is definitely hormone action, or as we like to call it, flirting. :)
