but you`re too scared stiff to move as you have a feeling somebody is there ? I have had this a few times and i can hear my heart pounding ! Do you think its a spirit presence ??

No it's a biological mechanism that prevents you acting out your dreams. The dream ends but it takes a few seconds for the motor neurones in your cortex to receive the message, so you remain conscious but unable to move.

Yeah!!! I know EXACTLY what you mean!!
It seems totally illogical doesn't it? You're lay there rigid and totally unable to move! Your heart is beating so fast that you think it's gonna burst out of your body! I usually get a cold sweat on too.
I don't know if it's a spirit presence - I can't explain it - but at the time it sure feels real!
I just hide under the covers and hope for the best!! I feel if I start to look for something, I just might find it, and I know that if I have eye to eye contact - I'm in for it!!
I'm happy to say that nothing's happened to me so far!

The Bible makes it clear what those are, no frieking bodily feeling can make you feel like your pinned down because that feeling is to real I know what that is I had for 16 years a demonic spirit followed me where ever I went and moved to it didnt mater where i'd go it would follow and terrorise me night and day I would wake up in the middle of the night not being able to moved and see a shadow of someone on my ceiling and it would move from the cieling to the wall by my bed and i woud feel it breathing on me yeah I doubt thats your frieking imagination especially when I would see it every night basically and it got worse until eventually it was appearing to me in physical form and it had the apperannce of a man in his mid 20s real tall black hair black mustache black suit and the thang is my little brother who is now 10 years after I have seen that spirit my brother saw it last year it followed him while he was riding his bike at midnight yeah I know he shouldnt have been out that late thats my moms fault but he rode by this old house a couple blocks away and he looked in the window and there was that same spirit I saw years before. He said it followed him to the house but stoped at the property line so praise God my prayers going up for my brothers kept it from being able to access the property, my brother joey said it stood there and stared at him for the longest time which at this time joey was looking out the upstairs window and then he siad it just dissaperaed. My mom saw that same spirit plenty of times while growing up and still sees it to this day out side of the yard tryin to get in this yard. But anyways now my brothers live with me and the blood of jesus is pleeded over this house and no demons even dare come in are house all I got to say is yes its real and prayer is the only answer goto a church ask for a minister to pray over your house get a prayer chain goin in the local or even city area look up this on aol search demonic hauntings and what to do about them

Some people get it much worse than that, i get a shadow pinning me down on the bed and strangling me. It feels so real but its called sleep paralysis, where you are half awake but your body wont move. It scares the $hit outta me. try moving next time to wake yourself up. I personally have never seen a ghost so i do not fear them. You have nothing to worry about :) just real people on this planet can harm you.

It's a common phenomena called sleep paralysis.There have been hundreds of studies done on it, and it was traditionally thought to be indicative of a supernatural presence, but it's really just a case of certain parts of the brain aren't "awake enough".

Yeah, I've had this happen to me. But my opinion is that it's not a presence. I think it may be due to dreams/nightmares and your subconcious is blowing it all out of proportion. Generally I'd believe it to just be your mind p[laying tricks.

Hard to say , but I have never been afraid of the dead only the living !!! I would just sit there try to wake up stay calm and see what happens .

it happens to me i just hide under the covers or grab my partner for dear life i always feel theres some one at the end of the bed i reckon it could be spirts
