Is it common to haqve side effects or reactions to certain meds hours after taken rather then right after it's taken???

Absolutely, and some side effects can take days/weeks to develop, or can be dose dependent...ie. the higher the dose the more likely you are to get them.

Speak to the prescribing doctor about the side effects, and see if another drug might suit you better.

Definitely:

Please look up the medication at webmd.com it will state all the
side effects and also let your doctor be aware of what happened.

Be very careful what you take, even if it is prescribed. But total
caution if it is not!!

Certainly! Most side-effects do not happen immediately. Just like in food poisoning - it could be hours before one becomes ill.

this phenomenon is known as idiosyncratic side effects, it means it does not matter how long you were exposed or what dosage, side effects can occue at any time, it is different from dose or exposeure related side effects, good luck
