Sure, Doctor Felipe Gertrand Latulence first recognized this effect while bathing in the salty springs of the White Swallow resort in Tussaud, France. Dr. F. Latulence did extensive work in the field of fart sonar, and gas expansion. Enough work that a very famous diver Jacque Cousteau enlisted Dr. F. Latulence's help when desinging his under water breathing apparatus. They tried to produce a product that would allow depth measurments to be taken from the fart sonar sound, and then recyle the bountiful gasses into a breathable form. Dutch Scientist Herman Cuttin Fromage perfected this technique, thusly leading it to be called "The old dutch oven".
