The guy may be a thrill seeker and really not care about you, but he also may just be nervous, or unsure of what to do. Has he had experience dating? Even if he has, he may just be unsure of his feelings toward you.
Or, he may be playing hard to get.
Or, he may be want you to be more assertive.
Who knows. If it gets worse, talk to him about it, and ask him if he really likes you. Don't waste your time on a guy who doesn't like you, but don't push him away if he's just a little shy or nervous in a relationship.

I think i know this type of guy, girl move on. He is not a bad guy, I don't think, but it seems to me that he is not going to make a commitment, he is still looking. So try to be just his friend and no more. Don't set yourself up for the hurt.
