Okay....one of my favorites (and our kids, too)...
1) Salmon filet (any size) - place in a baking dish (skin side down). Put some "Lawry's 30 minute marinade" -the teriyaki/pineapple flavor - on top (does not need to be completely covered - in it - I use about 1/2 - 3/4 bottle if the salmon is big) Bake at 400 for 20 minutes - should come out flaky & tasty.
2) Get some sweet potatoes (fresh - not canned) & boil til tender - only about 30 min or so. Peel. Put them in a large bowl & whip with a mixer using some orange juice & some brown sugar (enough so that they are fluffy).
3) Add your favorite vegetable - like broccoli or fresh green beans.
4) If you like bread - maybe bake some biscuits or rolls with it.....very yummy & good for you.....(in fact I'm making this meal tonight for a neighbor & his young daughter - his wife just tragically died)....
5) Also, if you want some fruit, slice up some fresh crisp apples to go with it....simple, tasty, easy.
Enjoy your dinner....salmon is great food & good for the brain (omega-3 fats)......

Ordering in is the best option but if you are in the mood, you can make salmon, with brocolli and perhaps mashed potatoes. Really easy, and have a bottle of wine or some other drink to enjoy your meal.
For the salmon, wash and then make parcels in foil, adding lemon juice and coriander, close the parcel and cook in the oven for about 20mins at 180'C, or longer, or you could pan fry with butter, and garlic.
Have fruit or ice cream for dessert, so you won't have to actually make anything.

Bonjour,
Start with barley and vegetable soup. Slow cook barley, carrot, celery, beef stew pieces and pease with beef broth for 3 hours or so. Put those in a crock pot and you don't have to worry about it.
Main course would be pancetta wrapped salmon filet. Grill it or pan broil it. How easy is that? Serve with boiled cauliflower and cheese sauce on top.
For dessert, Victorian vanilla ice cream serve with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Or if you have apple pie, warm it up and serve with vanilla ice cream. Voila!
Bon Appetit.
