My wife and I are Born Again Christians and we like religious movies so last night we saw `the Omen`. Now we have a religious question for you experts.
As some of you folk know, my wife is pregnant but I am not sure who is the father (see my other Yahoo Questions).
If an angel is sent by God to tell us that our baby is the child of Satan, we want to know what to do. My wife says that she will abort the baby.
But abortion is murder and a sin.
So wouldn’t it get around the whole problem if we let the baby grow and be born first. Then when it is born, under proper supervision from a priest, we can drive stakes through its heart or whatnot.
I know this is a little early to be asking, but we have had so many problems lately, I gotta ask.

If you are not sure about whether or not she was fertilized by the Seed of Beelzebub, then you should wait for that angel you mentioned in your question. If an angel does show up, ask It what you should do. They tend to be kind of in a hurry (there are lots of things to take care of as a Messenger of the Lord), but if you ask a succinct "yes or no" question so as not to waste Its time, you will get an answer. Abortion is always a bad move. I'd watch the little bastard as it grows up. Check the scalp for signs of the number of the beast, watch for uni-brows, extra digits on it's hands and feet, red hair. A full set of mature teeth on a newborn is a sure sign. If it recites passages of Scripture backwards in its sleep, there may be a problem. P.S. If you are going to kill the baby in the presence of a priest, why not just have the priest do it. This will absolve you of any wrong doing. The priest can go and purify himself of sin afterwards, leaving all parties involved unsullied by the dirty deed.

Abortion is wrong. So is murder even under a priests supervision. It is up to God whether or not this baby will be born and live a long life. You shouldn't do anything but support your wife throughout her pregnancy and help raise this child in a christian home. Good luck and God Bless!

Wow. If this is a real question, I will be amazed. I do not think you and your wife should have children. Your wife is not carrying the devil. You really do not sound like born again Christians. I think counseling, through your church even, would be wise and what God would want you to do.

No child is born of satan, only in time the child will be who you make it, depending how you raise it
nobody can make that decision for you
my answer would be no
i believe that any child born is a child born of who raises it not of who is biologically linked to it.

BELIVE ME i understand why ppl get abortions but you said it yourself it is murder and how will u be able o wake up every day knowing you killed a baby that could be yours and if its not ours it is still someone elses and its a life no matter who it is. i personaly couldnt live with myself knowing i killed a baby but maybe u can
