Billy Conn was a great fighter, who had a lot of boxing skills. He fought Joe Louis and almost won the title. I would have to give this one to Conn on a 15 round split decision

The great Billy Conn gave Joe Louis all he could handle and if Connn did not try to knock Joe out when he had him hurt, he was ahead on points, he would have beat Louis. Jose would not last 12 rounds much less 15
