can the yellow nesquick containers be used for anything or should i throw them away?

I think it depends on what you are using it for. Read the container also. Some have label that say not to use it for things.

They can be used for lots of things if you are creative:

Decopage them and turn them into change banks. Pink or blue for a new baby, Casino Cash for a gambling buddy, etc.

Paint them and stencil them for canisters: "Flour", "Sugar", "Coffee", "Tea", etc. Or cut a window in the front, insert some plastic and show off some interesting pasta shapes.

Cut the tops off and punch holes all the way around the top. Paint and then use a bright ribbon to sew around the top. Tie a nice bow and use it to hold pens and pencils. Make a shorter version to hold candies.


Cut the box about 1 inch from the top. Cover both peices with fabrics, add a shoulder strap, a hinge, and a clasp for a handmade purse.

Have fun and think about the box!

Sure if you go fishing they can be used to keep worms. Or use it as a handy lunch pail or recycle it or reuse it as a tupperware container, just don't microwave it.
