How old do you have to be in the state of California to have a car title under your name?

18 to have your name soley on the title. if you have a parent, guardian, or someone over 18 on there with you, im pretty sure it is 16.

i don't think there is a limit anywhere. but if there is im pretty sure it would be the legal driving age like 15 or 16 , someplaces even 18. contact your local Department of Public Safety or Department of Motor Vehicles( DMV).
