For history, we're supposed to make a "poster-sized" parrallel timelime about two civilizations. My teacher wants it to be 3-D, but it doesn't have to be. Any one have a creative idea?

(By the way, I'm not asking for which civilization to choose.)

Use the poster board vertically and draw your parallel lines from top to bottom in a three dimensional manner, as if the lines are coming toward you. Like drawing a road.

Use smaller print at the top of the poster progressing to larger type at the bottom.

Top to bottom, past to present.

Cheap but effective.

you should make it as a pop up. You know those pop up books with the pictures poping out when you turn the page. You can do that or you can make 3-D squares and print the names of the civilzations and glue it on the poster. Hope this helps good luck on your project.

Have the poster have doors. When you open up the door....fix it like a shadow box and you can see inside ---showing what was going on in that particular time.
