Why does my mom think that I'm going Anerexic? So I haven't been eating alot, I'm not hungry. Everytime I tell her I'm not hungry she gives me the look, then later on teases me about it. It's driving me crazy lately!

I've tried telling her, but I think that she thinks that I'm lying. No I don't make myself vomit, I'm not all that tall, I'm in my oppinon skinny enough. And I'm 14.

She's your mother be glad she even notices such changes...are you thinner than ususal? Has your attitude and or appearance changed? If so, that's probably why your mother might think your anorexic. If your just not hunger that's one thing but if your depressed and not eating or suffering from a disorder consider talking to her honestly.

Shes your Mom, she worries about you. She wants you to be healthy. Moms worry, youll see why when you have your own kids.
Give her a break. Go give her a hug. Shes the most important person in your life right now. She cares more for you than anyone does.
I learned all of this after I had my own child. I can see now that my Mom was right about everything.

A lot of people think I'm annorexic because I'm skinny.Just ignore them or talk to them about it.There are times when I eat a lot and other times it's the opposite.
I'm 15 & I'm pretty short myself.

I think she's just concerned. She's heard how bad for someone it is to purge or to starve oneself, and how hard to stop the habit once you start.
Do you make yourself vomit? How old are you, how tall, and how much do you weigh?

She is you mom, and moms worry, trust me she would be on your case just as much if you were eating too much. Let her look and ask that way you know she cares about you and is just doing her natural job

Because Peanut, she is your mom, and no matter how old you get she will always feel responsible for your health and well being.
Tell her very calmly, and affectionately that you appreciate her concerns, but you are fine. And that she will always be the first one you come to if you feel something is wrong with you.
Let her be the mom who has always watched over you, it will make her feel loved, and appreciated.

ask her this exact question. WITH CALM.
say, "mom why do you feel that i am anorexic?" and mean whatever you're saying and listen to her throughoutly! she'll feel more comfortable and wont freak out as often.

We are so in the same damn boat. My mum sometimes serves me my dinner and watches me eat it all. They are so paranoid.
