The vote for the border fence passed 80-19. The margin sends a message about what is to come. Do you think the Senate is finally getting it?

Our August Congress has carried out it again!! Ingnored each and each of the achievable ideas and followed a tried and failed action. there has been a fence contained in the Tijuana and El Paso elements for years. The Mexicans extremely love those fences, they make tremendous automobile grills. as well, with each and each of the nice and cozy temperature Haliburton is taking up its Iraq thievery they want a replace of surroundings.

one of the best things they could have done, as a matter of fact, the best thing they have done in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. As soon as they apply it, it will be the second best thing they have done in a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. BUT....Needs to be longer than 700 miles, and allow target practice for ones that have the balls to try to climb over. And, the fences need to be tall, smooth, slippery, and covered in razor wire. Am I asking too much??

700 mile fence for a 2000 mile border? where will they put the fence? between california and hawaii? we need real reform and real penalties for breaking the law, and a real fence for the border.

Personally, i believe a 700-mile fence along our nearly 2,000-mile border isn't nearly enough.

It's stupid. People will always find a way to get here if they want to. Congress needs to work together to come up with (are we listening?) COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM.

Fences will NOT do the trick, no matter what kind of intentions are behind them.

too, little, too late.... theres like 25 million plus illegals here now.......and it needs to be the Full 2000 miles...and not a fence, we need a WALL....30 feet deep, 50 feet high, sleel over concrete, topped with razor wire..Imagine a maximun security prison wall....Thats what we need on our southern border...not to prevent US from leaving, but stop them, from coming in....oh yeah.. let's not forget armed gaurds every 50 feet.......plus run 10 thousand volts, high amperage through the razor wire....

I think it's silly. We need strict enforcement of rules against employers, and increases of sentencing to jail time and stiff fines.

Unless the demand goes away, the illegals will keep coming in.

Every step forward is advancing to a goal.
I would like to see more-and it done better than the way they have planed. But I am not King.
