Immigration is out of control, I know that some cases are genuine, but others arnt and are here for a free ride. Its breeding contempt, and racial hatred. When people see others come into the country who have not paid a penny tax, then get more and be treated better, than those who are uk born and have paid tax in to the system.
Because of the Goverments lack of back bone, to standing up to Europe, and not dealing with the problme, Enoch Powell, will be proved right, the streets of Britain will run with blood, but my concern is whose, people have had enough, and it wont be long befor the likes of the BNP will gain a foot hold, which will be an extreme but the other way.

The Home Office obviously needs a big shake-up. Lately I have read that about half the staff take nearly 10x the sick days of the average UK worker. They had a problem with computerization (their automated roll-out was an unmitigated disaster).
The legal system in the UK also has its problems. Whereas being an immigrant myself I would have thought the police would arrange for the immediate deportation of any immigrant who commits a crime in this country, come to find out they put them into UK prisons then release them into the UK system when their prison time is up. I'm not trying to send criminals elsewhere, but I know when I came to the UK I registered with the police and would expect for myself if I got into trouble that I might be sent to my home country. Therefore, immigrants who rudely exploit the UK's generous and open immigration system are, in my book, not worth saving.
We don't have room for everybody who comes. That is a sad fact. Although I welcome asylum seekers fleeing genuine persecution, I am more wary of economic migrants.
While the rest of Europe tightens their immigration laws, the UK is still in a muddle. The UK needs to learn to be tough but fair in its immigration policy, which should dissuade those who wish to abuse the system from trying.

What goes around comes around. The British invaded so many countries in the past (The British Empire), and made them into its colonies. When the British invaded these countries, they did it to take there wealth and power. Now these people are migrating for economic development.
Why is it that it was right when the Brits invaded, and now when these people come to the UK to live and work, they are being treated like Sh*t.
The reason why you people are labelled Racist is because your uneducated pricks who don't know British History. You call yourselfs Brits, but you don't know your history.
Read a book on The british Empire and British Colonialism.

It's gone too far - however, it's good that there is a parallel outflow of middle-class whites deserting the UK and heading for much nicer climates and more civilized societies in France and Italy.
Meanwhile, the influx of East Europeans will be short lived - (psst, most of them only come here to make a load of money charging exorbitant prices for menial tasks to help pay for their Uni' studies back home) So within 10 years "this Sceptic Isle - set in a saliva sea" will be the domain of a few mega-rich white-collar crooks and lots of affluent Asians battling to defend their sumptuous gated homesteads against the relentless urban tide of deprived Black and White trash...!!!

I can't see a problem with it as long as there are some controls. Obviously we cannot absorb everyone who wants to come here so we will in future have to have some kind of selection programme that is to the benefit of the wider society. Anyone of any race should be entitled to apply but they should be able to prove that they can make a positive contribution.
Much of the anger or frustration about immigration policy to date is caused by a lack of understanding on all sides. We all need to try and remedy this.
If people wish British citizenship they wish to be British. If they wish to be British they must learn the language and understand the British way of life. I'm not saying they should deny the culture they have came from or that they should forsake their religion. We should all see that greater understanding will give us a greater society, where all of our children can grow up in an atmosphere of tolerance and mutual respect.

I think it's great that the UK allows so many people who are destitute to come to our country and share in our riches. I think our borders should be more open.

When all the bigots and empty heads have finished, controlled immigration (try to spell properly) into the United Kingdom is a good thing. Our population is rapidly ageing and we need new blood to keep the economy going. Notice I say controlled, not unlimited immigration. No bias, no hatred, just facts.

There are many jobs that are not well paid e.g. cleaning, bus driving, hotel hospitality, which less and less native people want to do. If no one does these jobs, the businesses which provide these jobs will suffer, and will impact upon the economy.
Immigrant are willing to do these jobs, because they can earn many times more money than they would in their own country.
