Trolls suck; this person probably isn't even American.

By the way, in response to someone's answer, our national anthem isn't "My Country 'Tis of Thee"; it's "Star Spangled Banner". There has been talk for several years to changing it to something else, but I doubt this will happen.

I'm a frequent traveler to the U.K. and Ireland and I always have a great time with the locals. Sure, London can get a bit snobbish, but so can New York City and Boston. It's ridiculous.

Can't we all just get along (island iced tea...)? Slainte'!

I happened to meet a famous Englishman Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues and I found him very nice and charming and not rude all at.

English have only become rude to foreigners as we have no control of who is let into our country anymore. There are more and more foreigners coming into the country that aren't accepting of the English way of life and want to change it - So there is a damn good reason to be grumpy and rude sometimes. Show respect to us and we'll show respect to you!!!!!!

SIMPLE!!!!!

I am glad you used the word English and not British. The English tend to have a chip on their shoulder. They think they still own half the world and quickly forget the atrocities they committed.

Because people like YOU think that amerikkkans own the world!

By the way, I AM an American, I have been to MANY different countries and I have found that the MOST rude, annoying, disgusting and generally ignorant of the culture around them are AMERICANS!!

So...there you are!

Because you probably aren't loud enough...however, if you really want to gain their undying affection and respect, remind them that if it werent for us they would be speaking Germainian or how we have the power to nuke them into the stone-age (what?...they do too?)...well... we still have more bombs and guns. They obviously have some respect for us however as "Our Country Tis of Thee" IS thier national anthem. Happy Travels!
