I've been working on an overly shy and quiet girl since school began. I've got her to where she'll initiate conversation and she will flirt with me often. She tries to break my balls as often as possible, and we have good eye contact when we talk. She seems to act differently with me around her friends though. Do you think she is interested?
Also, I considered this: The next time she teases me, I just say in a very serious voice, "I don't like you anymore". She knows I have feelings for her. Would this be a good way to get her more interested? Let me know. Thanks.

umm do you really think a good way to get a girl to like you would be to say I DONT LIKE YOU. that is just pathetic and sad.

Well it sounds like you are doing ok to me. She is probably just shy around her friends. If I were you though, I wouldn't tell her that I didn't like her. That would probably just upset her and confuse things. Next time you are with her just casually say "You know I really do like you. You're a cool chick." Something along those lines. Just make sure to do it in an offhanded way so as not to sound to serious and make the both of you to uncomfortable. Good luck!

If she is shy in nature, I don't think that saying something like that is going to get the desired result. In fact, think that telling her you do like her is going to be the best approach. If she isn't more interested after that, she never will be.

I think that if you're good enough to talk to by yourself, then you should be good enough to talk to when she's with her friends.
