Revelation 6:12

12I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Don't know about a moon but..."The red sun rises, blood has been spilt this night." --JR Tolkien, Lord of the Rings. =^-^=

You mean the Book of Revelation? If so Revelation is speaking metaphorically of the persecution of the early Christian Church which was persecuted so severely that 'it turned to blood...'

"The moon" was an early Christian reference to the Church which reflected the truth of Jesus much as the real moon reflects the light of the Sun during the dark of night.

I find it very irritating when I choose to answer a question, click on it, and discover that the perp already knows the answer, and is just looking to show off their knowledge. PLEASE don't waste my time that way. I have a slow connection, and so cannot answer people who really DO need answers.
