A deaf person went to the hospital and got out being able to hear, but then that person became dumb (not able to speak) instead. At some point, the war in Iraq was meant to free the Iraqis from Sadam Hussein because he tortured and killed many of his people. Now Sadam is gone, but a lot of Iraqis get killed every day now, together with a lot of Americans, after almost half a TRILLION dollars. This war will cost America and Americans dearly over a very long time. We Americans will not be able to come up with any perfect solution to end the war because the country Iraq itself is divided up by 3 ethnic groups which never wanted to co-exist together througout history, and war is part of their "culture". I believe one possible solutions would be to let Iraq split up into 3 automonous regions, making sure the Sunnis get a fair share too of the profit from the oil productions in other parts of Iraq. When all the people can settle down to a more stable life, then the Iraqis would get more educated themselves, which would easily lead to democracy on their own. You cannot force democray down people's throat, casting a vote on someone only because you're told to vote for that person is not democracy.

I thought that i would make the world a safer place for my family. I now look back and realise that all we have done is stir up a hornets nest. I know it is a bad thing to say, but when Saddam was there the problem was contained. Saddam and Al Queda are 2 very different people. We did not find anything over there and it is just turning into civil war. We have no exit strategy either, How can we pull out and leave this country to implode.

Its unneeded. The question to ask for the people justifying it with WMD's and smoking guns and blah blah blah is, why Iraq? Why Iraq over countries with a more militaristic agenda? Why not North Korea, or South American countries with rampant drug problems?

Becuase its an economic issue, we needed oil and we needed a platform to get into the Middle East. If you read between the lines right wing nutjobs and some liberals are hinting that the primary reason for an invasion was to stop their oil monopoly.

Nevertheless, I find it intrusive, obnoxious and there is no question left in my mind why other countries in the world hate us.

We should not be in Iraq. We never should have gone over there.
There have been no WMD. It has been a waste of human life and billions of our tax dollars. We should stay out of that countries affairs. Were would we be today if Iraq had come to this country and helped the South during our Civil War ?

The war in Iraq is a waste of time. Terrorism is all over the Middle East, it is not headquartered in Iraq. So for this administration to tell us that it is a war on terrorism, that is what this administration made it, when weapons of mass destruction were not found! Oil is the real reason we are interested in Iraq. Remember who has ties to the oil industry from our illustrious leaders?

notwithstanding issues are going extra desirable for us do not think of for a 2d that the conflict is only approximately over and each little thing would be quiet. It won't. The Iraqis have been killing one yet another for years and notwithstanding they have a lull of their conflict, it is going to truthfully flare up lower back as quickly as we bypass away. we are retaining them quiet via giving the chieftans funds....lots of money. we are procuring their friendship. as quickly as we bypass away it is going to truthfully start up as quickly as extra and the Iraqi military and police (the two a shaggy dog tale) should not be waiting to regulate them. it will be a blood bath. i might bypass away the full remember of Iraq in the palms of conventional Pretreus considering he started the surge and he's the guy who's paying off those non secular factions. i don't have faith that we are in a position to get out in sixteen months yet who is conscious? Obama, super conventional that he's, would not have the foggiest concept on a thank you to bypass away Iraq. he's a moron giving out all that innovations so the Shiites, Kurds and Sunnis could make their protection rigidity plans for the destiny. we would desire to consistently not say a be conscious approximately getting out of Iraq. shop them guessing. This conflict became an rather undesirable pass on the component of u.s. and England and now we are the two under economic and political rigidity because of the fact of it. And what approximately all those youthful lives that have been sacrificed to win this conflict? think of roughly it. What did they actually combat for? Bush would desire to be impeached for this catastrophe.

The massacre of the innocent people of iraq was just that. This country has had economic sanctions on it for over a decade. If it were a country that possesed nucleur weapons or were able to defend itself, in the eyes of our own illegitimate regime', i assure u bush & his cronies would never have a single soldier there. May we all learn from this tragedy that we aren't always the good guys.

Either Bush was involved in 911 as some say and this is a ploy to a more underlying plan or bin Laden should have immediately been sought and dealt with. One thing it seems our troops are dropped off into unfamiliar grounds not receiving back-up desperately needed while Pres of Iran lavished terrorists with new equipment. To think young Altruistic citizens are being disregarded makes me wonder about Bush and his ideals. (not said as a dem. or rep.)
