i saw a recipe the other day that had fried bananas with cinnamon and something...it sounded good. anyone ever tried frying a banana?

Are you serious!?! Fried banana is the best! I like a small amount if coating on it with ice cream. You can use cinnamon etc or biscuit thats been mashed up

I bought a deep fried banana on a stick once. It was quite tasty! And I bet adding cinnamon would make it really good.

I've tried Fried Plantains (which look like bananas) but never bananas. They seem to soft to fry. Plantains are delicious fried. Mexican restaurants serve them on menus... Yummy.

in my part of the globe we fry a certain type of banana rolled in a mixture of cane sugar and cinnamon

yes, we do that in my home country, we call then bananaque :-)

But we use a different kind of banana (saba), just dip them in brown sugar with a little cinnamon then fry

aww man......fried banana are very common in my country..... they use flour with the banana and fry it... try adding some sugar into the mixture

Yeah...try slicing it, wrapping it up in a spring roll wrapper before frying it. Then drizzle it with honey or light syrup

We wrap in foil and put them on the BBQ, add some butter and brown sugar.

yes bananna fritters are great ,make a batter and dip bananna in it and fry
