no they should not
1. the bears feelings will get hurt
2. the bears will cry
3. the bears parents will come yelling at you for your bad parenting
4. you will have to deal with the annoying parents
5. they will take all of your cat nip
6. they will take all of your cheese
7. they will take every hammer in the world
8. they will take your punching mammel away (your manatee)
9. they will make you supervise & play with your children 24/7 when you have to deal with their screaming
overall its just a bad idea because then you will lose all of your prized possesions... now get them off the roof they could break the sattelite anntenna

It depends on how old they are. I think after they get into kindergarten (ages 4 to 6) children are too old to carry them every where as it is normal for some children to still sleep with them at that age. And after they get into their teen years they should have grown out of that.
