Do you believe that during sexual intercourse, there is ever a point of no return? I've heard that from men sometimes when talking about sex. For instance, you've begun having sex, and have gotten to the point where you are almost THERE, and she tells you to stop? Is it really hard for you to stop at this point, when the act is almost completed? I guess my question would be more aimed towards the guys than the women.... In my opinion, you should always stop when asked, whether you're a man or woman. Any time that the partner feels uncomfortable, then all bets are off, and if you don't stop then you could be in for all sorts of trouble. However, I do recognize the fact that it is much easier to stop sex towards the beginning, rather than the end. What do you think?

Give it a good "thump" and you shall return.

But don't use that on somebody you really love...

There is a physical "point of no return" where a guy knows he is going to climax no matter what. It may come anywhere from a couple seconds to as much as 15 to 20 seconds before the actual release. That point, however, is so far into the sex process that it would be odd for the female to suddenly want you to stop there. The exception would be the practice of coitus interruptus -- interrupted sex for birth control -- where the guy is expected to stop at precisely that same critical point and have his orgasm outside the vagina. It has been done for centuries, so it is certainly possible but it's not as much fun.

I think there is a point of no return. Think about it. If you are that close to finishing, it's almost impossible to stop. Here is a reason why you need to be positive that you want to have sex before you ever start.

Stopping at the point of no return? No partner will tell you to stop! Unless that someone is a person you're raping...
