The New Age movement seems to be a gathering of cultures/beliefs attempting to create unity. Centered on what I don't know.

I'm Catholic

Overall, the New Age movement will be the saving grace for many people. Since the New Age movement centers around being nice to others and treating others nicely, they have a leg up on any other so-called religion out there.

I am a Spiritualist. I was raised as Christian, taught in Seventh Day Adventist, learned communion with Espicapalians, and then sought out my own path from there.

I have my own Yamika from visiting the Jewish Temples so much, I am considered a possible incarnation of Buddah by Nishin Daisho, they have statues of me erected in Lebanon (that is actually very scary - especially when they bow down to me).

Anyway, the two things that I learned are:
(1) All religions and belief systems are valid - including athiesm and devil worship - they are a path to understanding different aspects of spirituality
(2) The one common theme seems to be that you treat everyone kindly

Okay first off Wicca and other Neopagan religions are NOT New Age. Not New Age. New Age is the belief that all religions are one, working toward the same goal, blah blah. Wicca is an individual religion. Neopaganism is an earth-based religious movement. Got that? Wicca and Neopaganism =/= New Age. Good.

I think of the New Age movement like I think of any other religion that I don't adher to...not that much at all. People have a right to believe as they believe. I kinda disagree with the concept that all paths are one and the same going towards the same goal, but that's my issue not theirs. If someone wants to be New Age, go for it.

I'm Asatru.

I dont really have a belief system, I'm Catholic, but don't agree with everything, so... I dont know what I am.
I love the basis of New Age, especially Wicca. Most of it is very peaceful and tied to the elements, which I thoroughly enjoy. I find the whole movement, however, to be kinda weak-kneed. No offense to anyone, but to me it seems to have so little backbone in it. Yes, peace and zen and stuff is good, but not when it means you can't stand up and fight. Also, it seems as if no one in the movement can keep with a belief. They're constantly changing their minds and... Grr.
I know one thing for sure about the New Age movement: It's not for me.

That's a hard question for me to explain.

Am I Wiccan? Short answer, Yes. Long Answer, No. :) Most "New Age" stuff gives me a migrane. Since my "religion" is Nature based, I honestly don't think of it as New Age, since My Gods have been around, (with these names) for thousands of years.

It is legit. It refers to the evolution of the individual in relation to All That Is. My belief system can be called "The Eight Perspective".

Wow,,
New Age movement has been here for a long time, and will get stronger.
But, its just a movement, (just like all the other movements)

Noooo.... they steal from other cultures too much (particularly Native American!) and distort their beliefs and rituals. Or are just plain nutty.
