The one you like the best. I have a HD projector and 10ft screen in the basement, a HDTV plasma in the bedroom, and a rear-projection HDTV 43in in the family room - all different brands.

You need to got to the store and look at them for yourself. I recommend getting an upconverting DVD player off the display shelf, bringing a movie like Finding Nemo (or anything with color and amazing video effects), and play the same scene on all the sets that meet your criteria and budget.

Go home with a list of the top three and look up the repair ratings and consumer reviews of the top three and make your choice. Your choice will be the best set on the market , becasue you will be happy with it.

Can't tell you how many people buy something that someone else recommends, then walks into my house and likes mine better (or thinks mine stinks when compared to my brother's).

Sony SXRD rear-projection set. Outstanding reviews. I have seen this set, and it beats anything else I've seen. Get a 60" or 70" size for best viewing experience. The new sets will accept 1080p input (still pretty rare).
